Have people on this forum used Protex tie rod ends? I'm looking at a pair of TE626R & TE626L ends for my 05 TDV6 and I'm curious how long they'll last.

Most use the TRW which are OEM, a full track rod end kit Inc tierods and boots is 80 GBP plus postage.
The protex should have a 1-2 year warranty if you only need the rods, I got some protex wheel cylinders for my kombi which looked good.

I've decided to try the Protex units. They are on sale at the moment, so under $35 each. Prices for these parts vary wildly, you could pay over $120 at other suppliers so it definitely pays to shop around.
