My 2010 D4 has 2 x 2 streams of water from the windshield spay jets when washing, I don’t know if this changed in later year models?

Anyway, assuming it didn’t, has anyone swapped these out for a ‘spray’ type? I have a VW that sprays water in a fan shape, which I’ve found far more efficient - gets water directly onto any dirt/grime, without needing to rely on the wiper action to distribute.

100% a ‘nice to have’ of course, and hardly a critical spare!

I’ve been wondering this too. Would love to know if anyone’s found an alternative that fits.

Same here. The wife's Jeep WK2 has the fan sprays, very effective, however, they do completely obscure vision when you first apply, eems like a second or two before the wipers clear them, something the straight jets don't do.

All I right in thinking that you’ve considered removing the LR ones and replacing them with VW ones? Do they differ?

I haven't tried, but completely different shapes - the VW ones are tucked under the bonnet, compared to the LR ones that sit on top through a little hole in the steel.

Thinking out loud, even something that comes close, that we can adapt by way of a 3D printed part, to fit in there...

For $3 this ‘universal’ pair will be worth a shot. I’ll be the guinea pig.
