Hi All
Did the search and there is a lot of info there but no first hand use detail of someone that has done the conversion. I am looking for better fuel consumption and maybe some extra performance but that is not of great importance. The Rangie gives me that.

I can get 8.4 litres per 100 km on a trip from Sydney to Canberra in a Commodore but only 17 litres per 100 km driving from home to work.
The Tdi Discovery averages 10 l / 100 regardless of the trip
So if the answer is ...what is the question

Deleted.
Due to my confusing a post (in another forum) on not being able to use vegetable oil in a TD5 - nothing to do with lpg.
Sorry for any inconvenience/alarm.

Only reason I didn't get it set up was my lease and my pocket doesn't have the $3800 to install it.

For $4000 bucks it gives you 2-3lt per 100km better consumption and similar performance to a chipped engine. Basically if you do more than 20k km per year or a lot of towing it may be for you.????.Also the added bonus of 50 to 70 cents per lt for lpg.

The estimate for my chipped TD5 130 was 100,000km to break even.
