moon rises 1815hrs eastern standard time, mexicans different
you'll just have to watch the phases from where you are until about 2045hrs eastern standard time , mexicans different
unless cloud interferes all east coast should see mostly or partial eclipse
the further west you are, the less you'll see

Yes, getting the telescope out and dusting it off and cleaning the moon filter to be all set up to watch it tonight. It is going to be the longest duration one in NZ since 1212.
It is one of the few that is set for a relatively early moonrise (2020hrs) on to midnight with the partial eclipse set to be peaking at about 2200hrs NZDT. I think I can keep awake till then... [bighmmm] Most of these happen too late at night for me.

At a quick look at the satellite data - everywhere south of about Geraldton to Brisbane is covered by cloud, and by the time the moon rises it will probably be about the Sunshine Coast.

Nah, don't watch that. Pics are by my wife's niece's hubby. They're camped up at Kenilworth.
The niece and her hubby, that is!

Second post was Saturday night[emoji1531]
Big red blood moon, although the iPhone camera doesn’t show it as magnificent as it really was[emoji22][emoji22]
Maybe I should look at investing in a new camera instead of relying on the phones camera
Just another toy to be left at home when the time comes to take a photo
