Emission reports are made by?? for reason which might be reported al la VW for example as waffle plus- Dieselgate Volkswagen emissions scandal
Busted and cost a few billion in fines to VW ( Australia 2019 $125 million for making false and misleading representations about compliance with Australian diesel emissions standards)
What about the whole world view. Trust or waffle?
Thousands of satellites provide amazing millions of images in normal, thermal and other views and often free information.
A ted talk on C02 emissions mentioned this site. Climate TRACE (https://www.climatetrace.org/)
What was interesting was we might be honest to a extent which is good to hear. CO2 Emissions: Australia - 2015–2020 - Climate TRACE (https://www.climatetrace.org/inventory'sector=all&time=2015-2020&country=AUS)
The US report (https://medium.com/climate-trace-the-source/country-spotlight-usa-fee270007ca6)
Its plan for 2035 0% emmision power is a WOW.
What is measured and what is excluded is interesting.
China in Number One spot is of course a factor of what it makes for itself and us Country Spotlight: China. China is the world’s largest GHG… | by Climate TRACE | Climate TRACE: The Source | Sep, 2021 | Medium (https://medium.com/climate-trace-the-source/country-spotlight-china-3fbcaa357863)
Spent a interesting hour or two due to my future investments in power options mostly set for my retirement funds [biggrin] 300 satellites and 60 terabytes of data are very powerful data sets to consider. The waste area is my main interest (https://www.climatetrace.org/explore). Often a very wasted resource we can use [thumbsupbig]
Hope you enjoy some of it.
