Started my Thursday in classic style by reversing over one of my towing mirrors.
Does anyone know where in Perth (prefer North of River) I might lay my hands on a set of Milenco Aero 3 mirrors at relatively short notice?

Very much SoR but The Caravan Shed in Bibra Lake has them.

If you need to borrow one urgently for a trip, I have a pair not required until 9 December

Thanks Gav,

Legally I believe I can get away with just one on the drivers side, and given with the camera I don't actually use them I'll be good, but I've been eyeing off the Milencos and was waiting for the right opportunity. I figure doing something incredibly dumb has given me that opportunity.

Bibra Lake it is then. I reckon I can squeeze that in tomorrow morning.

Call them before you go, it was over a week ago that I was there for my annual van service, and some of their stuff moves off the shelf very quickly.

A few years later .....

Back in 21 a mate gave me a set of Milenco Grand Aeros for Christmas (he'd upgraded). They had the standard mirror pads on them, so I used to use a bit of double sided tape on each side to make sure they didn't come off. I just went to pick up the van (we had it in undercover storage) and I pulled the mirrors out to find I've lost a pad.

So, this prompted me to buy a set of the Milenco Landrover pads. Looking at them, they *should* lock into the groove in the mirror, but the Milenco site says "For all Land Rovers 2014 and later".

For interest (before they arrive) does anyone use Milencos with a Landrover specific pad on a D3?

Worst case I can grind the raised section off and go back to the double sided tape, but if they lock securely on the D3 then I've won.

Mine are just the generic pads and have had no issues with them once you get them into position and tighten them down.
