Hi all my disco td5 manual has recently had a clutch change ever since it seems to be quite sluggish on take off from idle it has a miss where you have to depress the clutch again and rev the car on take off. While driving the car seems sluggish and need quite a lot of accelerator to get and real response from it the car is using more fuel then it used to. The car has a stage 2 upgrade in it but I don't believe this is the problem as it been there for over 12 months with no ill effects the car idles well with no misses any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks Phil

I'd be checking any wiring and plugs that may have been touched during the clutch change.

If you have a nanocom or access to one, post a log.

Is it an EU2 or EU3?

Cheers
James

Hawk eye shows nothing the car is build date dec 2001 the accelerator seems to have about 1/4 travel before I get any increase in revs.

If you are at idle with the car in neutral, and you can move the throttle that far without an increase in rpm, you most likely have an issue with the TPS.

I don't own a Hawkeye, can you do logging with it?
Does it report throttle position or just track voltages?

just track voltage I think.

Does the track 1 voltage go up evenly with pedal movement?
just track voltage I think.

A stab in the dark but perhaps the clutch switch ??

Another stab, but check the location, security and wiring of the CPS. Unlikely, I know, but it's been out.
