GME TX3400 not powering on.

Only 20 years old but my trusty remote head 3400 is not turning on and no backlight on the screen either, got power at the connector so not a blown fuse or wiring issue. Anything else i need to check on these ?

Wiring in handset is potentially broken

Wiring in handset is potentially brokenI replaced the cable about 2 years ago and the remote head is blank , I mounted the head back onto the main unit but still nothing.

Fixed by replacing it with a same sized re mote head TX3520S 80ch, sending the old one off for a repair quote.
