Hi All

The Dim lights on my D4 don’t have fuses but apparently use MOSFET’s in lieu of fuses. Wiring diagram states that they are in the P101 Central Junction Box.

Does anyone have a picture of these little buggers - tried looking but that has to be the worst location for a fuse box..

As posted a few months ago I still have “brown out” possibly due to a volt drop - light is normal on start but a few seconds after starting the car is the dim lights drop to the crappy brown.

Both left and right sides - I have checked the earths and they are ok.

I don’t have an IID tool so can’t see if the previous owner tried to turn on the Daytime Running Lights because the above happens with engine running..

PS: it’s not the bulbar wiring as I have undone all that to check but problem stays..

Mosfets are electronic switching components that are soldered onto a circuit board amongst the other electronic components. They aren't normally meant to be replaced but often can be by someone experienced with electronic repairs.
