Hi guys
The central locking is working in the 4 doors but not the rear upper or lower .no sound at botton at all .im locked out of rear.
How do I go about sorting it out .

I had to replace my tailgate button once, it was pretty easy to do.
When mine was starting to give up, I found if I held the button pressed for a while it would unlock the tail gate.
Failing that, you can get the tail gate open from the inside.
The tailgate actuator gets power from fuse 15.
Give the drivers door an open and close and lock and unlock, check the fuse and check the interior light is working.
If that doesn't help, rear seats down, remove parcel shelf, lift and remove spare wheel cover, unscrew hinge cover flap, remove large plastic screw type trim buttons from tail gate carpet and slide down to release it from top cover trim (may need to partially remove rubber seal around the tail gate).
You should now have access to the latch and solenoid.
Operate the linkage and the latch should open the top half, operate it again and the bottom should open.
Hope that is of some help!

Done all that ,changed the relay no problem with that.
Is there a way to test botton or actuator.
Dashboard has been comming up with fault tail gate not closed lately

Usual culprit is the button. Just bridge the two wires going to it with a paperclip and check that the actuator isn't faulty first. If it is the button, I have not had much luck cleaning or rebuilding it.
I replaced mine with a Narva switch Narva |
Momentary (On) Push Button Switch with Waterproof Rubber Boot (https://www.narva.com.au/products/60039bl/momentary--on--push-button-switch-with-waterproof-rubber-boot)
and made some plastic washers to suit the larger hole left by the faulty LR one. I'm sure the marine stores would have good waterproof momentary-on switches as well.
cheers,
steve

Mine was the button, I just got the correct one from my supplier, straight swap over that way.
Haven't had a problem with it since.
