I wish you luck in getting ANY sort of mechanical work done in Broome within 7-10 days, Much better option to do the service yourself[thumbsupbig]

Booking months in advance. Just after a recommendation which seem thin on the ground.

I used Broome mechanical to do a service on my D3 in 2019. I did book at least a month in advance. They were ok but more than an oil change and grease seemed beyond their capability.

On a couple of trips up there I have found the guys at Tropical Motors helpful and competent.

Not many Land Rover parts are stocked by the local mechanics so I take a replacement kit with me - air cleaner, sump plug and oil and fuel filters. I’m going to book mine into a mechanic at Kununurra this year and provide the parts.

great idea. I usually carry a full set of spares so I’ll throw some extra in as well.

I would heartily recommend Tropical Motors in Blue Haze LIA.
You will get good honest service and won't be ripped off. They always did well by me when I had my 110 Defer.

Having just completed a clockwise trip around, unless you have booked 1-2 months in advance anywhere reputable you'll struggle.
Our travelling companions used Broome Motors.
With our Disco we used LR Automotive in Darwin, who I cannot recommend highly enough.
Originally an Indy, but approached by LR and are now authorised LR Service Centre.
Again in August we were looking at 6-8 weeks booking in advance.
