Discovery 4 Fixed Solar Panel Installation advice

Hey everyone,

I am looking at mounting a fixed solar panel on my rhino rack platform.
I want to wire it in to the boot to connect to my battery box. I am just looking for advice on best place to run the wiring?

See attached photo, can I run the cable straight through that grommet circled without any issues? Or is there a better/easier way?

I am a novice with car wiring and this'll be my first attempt at a self install of anything, so detailed and advice and photos would be GREATLY appreciated.
