The rise of IEDs has pretty much wiped out the market for retired general purpose military vehicles, those Perenties really are the last of the breed......

I bet the next is hydrogen tanks. You can easily hear a current tank moving several kilometers away. A silent tank would be bloody frightening except of course for the common as mud new drones including IR and thermal imaging making it hard being invisible any where in any thing[bigwhistle]

Similar system to what Nissan and Audi have - but a 115kW inbuilt generator is pretty extreme.
