location of Auxillary fan sensor relay on 3.6 ??

Just re-installing fan shroud on L322 3.6 (08) and find that hanging off the harness for the plug to the viscous fan, there is an item which appears to be called "Auxiliary fan sensor relay".
I don't recall unclipping it from wherever it was mounted it.
It appears to have some provision for clipping the unit into some sort of mounting, but I can't find the location where it should be mounted.
Can anybody direct me to where to look to mount this item?
It may have been hanging off the harness, but I have never noticed it previously, so no idea where it has to be mounted.
Thinking it might clip on to the shroud somewhere, as I think similar item located on shroud for petrol V8 (??)
