Just back from ARB to have the rear locker checked and its blown a seal. The rear locker has not quite worked right from the start so now the problem has been located they should have it running better than before.
Waiting on parts and it should be going in to be fixed on the 27th so if no further problems are found on pulling the diff apart I will still make this trip (HOPEFULLY).

Loaded Disco if diff not sorted out and you still want to come along there will be space in my D2 if you want to jump in for the weekend.
Reminds me need to get front bar cut before weekend.

Still have to wait on the Diff fix, I don't see it being a problem ?. But I have no funds as my last pain in the ass bill for the year has come in. But once they fix the diff I will want to give it a good test before Coffs so will have to come  .
Wont be doing any G4 tracks just some of the HARD ones as I cant afford damage before the Coffs trip, as this is going to be a kick ass trip and will not miss out on it for anything.

You could always jump in with someone else for the trip. Not the same as running your own truck but still fun, few coldies, sit around camp fire, laugh at others.
Steinzy - You still out there, been very quiet lately, are you trying to be good:angel: or what:twisted: . Are you still up for the trip on Saturday.
This is going from 5 people down to 3 at this stage as Craig is still a maybe if ARB get his diff sorted.

Yeah Bolts that would be fantastic..but I could only come out for the day anyways. I have to be on Coast sunday:(
Bugger as was looking forward to this weekend. It would make it all too hard to pop in at glenns and grab car and then drop off later that night..would be alot of driving! ****
Where are you Stienzy! man you been quiet

Sorry all but will have to pull out on this one. No funds, bill had to be paid as it was car insurance.
I'm a bit peeved as I will only have weekends off over the next few weeks and was looking to get at least 3 trips in but forgot about this bill which has run me short.
I don't know if I can make the night trip at the moment until I get my roster on the last week of August. Work roster will be changing then and the leave is very short in this month as staff have already taken most days.

HA :D I know what your like. :burnrubber:
I treat mud like sand and try and keep out of it if possible, as I am mountain terrain orientated rather than beach.
In saying that if there is mud in the way on a track and that is the only way through then more that happy to have some fun. :burnrubber:
But NO sand.

Yeah, your right and I'm starting to avoid mud too as I have had so many small issues turn into annoying big issues due to mud everywhere. Not the biggest beach fan but will give most things ago then a good wash afterwards!!

I always have a bit of a laugh at blokes who like to play in the mud, but they soon change there tune once you get it all coverd in mud and gets into every crevice of your LR. When I rolled Aquarangie, I was stripping it for parts and found mud from the Beerwah trips still in parts of the chassis from 2 years previous
Its good fun, but causes havoc on every mechanical component :(

Too true, mine has been running rough for ages and it was eventually tracked back to the crank angle sensor.......you guessed it......full of crud. Rick had a job getting to it as well as it is conveniently mounted between the fire wall and the engine!! I recently went to work on the engine bay with degreaser and the pressure washer but it didn't make that much difference looking at it. Needs a good steam clean and the once over with contact cleaner again I think.

True that
cost me 300 bucks to rebuild my altinator from a mud puddle a few weekends ago..not happy with that! Don't think I will bother putting a snorkle on the rangie now..if that happens.
