Do folk really fall for this?

Got to laugh at the way it's pitched at conspiracy theorists.

I love how they updated miles to kilometres and mpg to l/100km but used US spelling, and have the people giving the fake testimonials driving Buick Regals, which were never sold in Australia, and filling up with gas or gasoline.

Placebos do really work,
you'll find that whoever spends money on this crap will swear it works as claimed.

An easily identified and easily manipulated market as proven globally in recent times.

My neighbour bought the Fuel Shark (https://www.amazon.com/Neosocket-Shark-Saver-Fuel-Economizer/dp/B00CJQD4JW) and claimed it made a 5-10% economy improvement on his i30, I told him it was a scam but he insisted that he had recorded an improvement. He gave me one and I said I would try it, I did some reading on how they claimed it worked (filtering the 12v for noise) and decided it was bull**** as the car has many filters including a massive 12v battery and the reality is a little bit of electrical noise won't affect your economy.
I decided after looking at the components it would do no harm and ran it for 3 months. I record my fuel usage and have a record going back to when I bought the car.
I reported to my neighbour that the Fuelshark made absolutely no difference to my fuel consumption.
He still believes it works....

The ease with which a man will part with his beliefs is inversely proportional to how easily they are parted from their money.

I reckon a forum member should buy one and do a review on it, for the good of all AULRO members.
Now, I would immediately put my hand up to do so, except for the fact that my mileage in the disco, over any period of time, is extremely low.
I'm thinking more of a member who (and just for argument's sake) may be travelling at the moment, driving a medium to heavy, fuel consumer and perhaps towing a caravan? [bigwhistle]
Yes/No?

Not sure I can afford the $3.35 to buy one from eBay at present. Maybe you need to start a group buy?

Especially if you wrap the hiclone in al foil to protect it from all the negative energy out there.

When Hyclones first came out I tested one in my troopy for 5000kms. Took detailed logs. No improvement in fuel economy. Actually fuel usage went up. Provided my data to hyclone. Can you believe it but they weren't interested? [emoji1787]

Well I will be attending the Brissy 4x4 show and check out the gullibility factor. Easy to find , there's usually a guy in an Arkubra standing above a crowd with one of those headsets on. Now , if I can just stand there long enough and listen.....

Is there going to be a stand with amphibious vehicles?
Is it in association with the boat show?
Just interested, DL

They'll be handing out masks and snorkels at the gate.
