I am happy with the 12 months I kinda need that because I am self funding I need the time to save the cash.

If it comes early I will just have to get a loan to cover the short fall.

19" rims?

Its a 110 S that's what they come with. I am happy with that

I wondered if you planned to fit 18" rims when the 19s needed replacing.

I had the idea that the 19" tyres for the L663 were very expensive, basically only made specifically for the L663 whereas in 20" there's a good selection of 275/55R20 at much more reasonable prices.

I haven't got that far I only just ordered the car.

People with these cars are compulsive upgraders so a set of 20's will turn up at a good price.
I do have 18 inch compomotive's on my Discovery 4 these are coming off before I sell it. However I am told they won't fit the Defender.

In contrast, after 6 years on 32" 275/55R20 I've just changed to 31" 255/60R19 GG AT3 on D4 rims on my L322. The reasonable AT GGs have the same sidewall height as the 32" which rubbed the inner guards at access height with the wheels turned and required the boot floor to be raised to fit the spare.

Goodyear do the Wrangler Duratrac (the true off road tyre) in 255/65R19 which is the same 32" size that the Defender uses. At around $550 per corner they are not cheap but they are a very good option for people who can't fit 18" wheels. Previously you could only get the Duratrac in 255/60R19 which is 31" and is the size fitted to the D4 - it is great that they now sell them in the right size for the L663. I'm considering getting them on my L494 RRS for offroad adventures - not sure if I'd have rubbing issues though [bigsad].

Very nice! A bit jealous here. One question, why the Cold Climate Pack for Gladstone? [biggrin]

255/60R19 which is 31" and is the size fitted to the D4No, D4 size is 255/55R19 which is 30" but good that 255/65R19 are available for the L663.

Because of the leather colour my wife wanted. It adds a bunch of bundled options which asked if I could remove on order. Clearly this bundling is a way to bump profits. The no cost colour options do nothing for us.

I ordered mine a month ago and it was much the same, the cold climate pack added a leather steering wheel and seats, also not required items like heated windshield cleaner (or whatever) it was still the cheapest way of getting leather seats and wheel, as opposed to ordering them separately.

I also ordered heated and cooled seats at the last minute...... Just because I can, I've never had that level of luxury before.

I am trying not to think about it, as it won't be here until after Christmas and all.

Just in time for a 'Seat Cooling' tryout! [bigsmile]

Just did an online 'Build' on an X-Dynamic HSE 110 P400, which would be my preference.

$162,000, which includes $19,200 Luxury tax, $8,400 stamp duty and $1,100 rego, all to the government and a $3,300 dealer fee.[wink11]

do the dealers earn their $3,300 fee?

I went the poverty pack with some careful options. The Vintage Tan Windsor leather seats really put hurt on the budget but the Boss wanted that colour. I was also only going to do white but again the boss wanted Gondwana Stone.
I dropped the fancy tow pack and just had the tow bar fitted. I can back a Caravan I don't need the car to do that for me. Bit like a BMW I owned that could park its self however since I can reverse park a car I never used it.

The SE version of my build was $10k more I missed the 20" rims and fog lights and not much else.

Must be too used to FoMoCo parts as this made up 90% of the D4....
