Hi All
I've just joined AULRO as I've recently bought a 1982 Series III, which I'm super excited about. I will post some pics soon!
However, I need to move the LR from Dandenong South to Williamstown on Monday and I'm having trouble organising transport. The LR is unregistered. Is there someone on AULRO who could help me out? I'm happy to offer money for the assistance. Alternatively if anyone has any advice on how best to transport the LR I'd be very grateful!
Thank you.

If it’s safe to drive but only unregistered I’m pretty sure you can still get a permit from vicroads

If this isnt the case you can hire a car trailer and cart it home on that[thumbsupbig]

I would use a tilt tray. You should be able to find car moving tilt trays in the Dandenong Cranbourne area. It will be quick and easy and pain free . Delivered to your door

Thanks all. I should've mentioned I live in Sydney and am flying down for the day on Monday to pick up the LR from the auction house. It's not drive-able. I'm looking into hiring a tow truck with a tilt tray but haven't had any luck with availability.

The auction place could recommend a towing company or just google towing in Dandenong and they will pick it up and deliver to where ya want

Thanks for the advice all, I've found a place that will do it at the time I need.
