I have a LOW KM GS, which someone kindly drowned years ago, then 'hid' at the back of a workshop (and yes, that is actually what is in the log, 'found' parked in rear of workshop). Original motor had bent conrods (yes, I will rebuild it, different story).
Just bought a 4DB1T at auction, have the chart where gives details of its 2 hrs run in, and torque test, before being stored. Basically drop in ready, with a new clutch on it, and new throw out bearing in the box with it.
I am in the process of obtaining the power steering parts, and replacement brake master, clutch, and clutch slave (after sitting that long all suspect).
Would appreciate information from anyone else who has dropped one of these in, as to any issues that may arise.
I will unbolt the airconditioning compressor, until I can source the parts.
I have already decided to upgrade the radiator (North Qld summers are hot).[biggrin]
