Yep, take a look at John Cadogans latest video on this - bloody funny. Jeep at the only ones to have ever rolled a car during this test - and they've done it 3 times now - twice with the last model Wrangler and now after a 'redesign' they've managed it again.

The story on the first rollover is hilarious - Jeep claimed the IIHS made errors with the test so insisted it be conducted again to their specifications and were in attendance and signed off on the second test - where it rolled over just the same as the first time. After that disaster they said they'd gone back to the drawing board - this is the result. You couldn't write a script as good as this... [biggrin]

How can they legally sell these things??
a roofless suv that rolls over in a country that doesnt wear seatbelts????

Is this some sort of crossover with the NRA?

Dunno about there, but they get away with it here because we use ANCAP, and it doesn't include that specific test.

Anacap and many others including the one in the video all belong to the same umbrella organisation. They have a set of basic standards to check which are based on global standards. They then do other tests which interest the organisation doing the tests. The one shown perhaps being an example of this.
