Victoria is currently advertising for teachers to fulfil their plan for another year of free education pre kindergarten, unusually this advertising is on prime time TV with significant incentives for teachers to move interstate - from 9 to 50K in some cases :woot:
Early childhood teachers and educators | Victorian Government (https://www.vic.gov.au/early-childhood-teaching)
Given that NSW and Victoria are such close buddies these days it's hard to see how NSW wouldn't be offering similar incentives in the near future (or risk losing every teacher in Albury and along the river)
Very interesting times given a 4 year delay between deciding to recruit a new teacher and training them to be usable.
SWMBO who currently resides in NSW and works in a very dispirited ACT system is watching with interest [smilebigeye]
Regards,
Tote
