Ferguson Tractor ? Hmmm.... after a brief foray with David Brown ,the gear makers, and Henry Ford, Harry Ferguson built his own tractors. The first engine used was a ‘ standard ‘ , same same as Vanguard motor cars etc. Perhaps the early Landrover had this engine ?

Land Rover always used their own engine, until they bought the rights to the Buick V8. The first Land Rover used the overhead inlet/side exhaust four cylinder engine, from the pre-war sedan.

There was a site in Estonia or some such that I used to use for everything I could think of 'manuals LR', including all the original 101 WS manuals and updates.

Somehow or other they figured out my email address and I got an insanely abusive email for not being 'a member'. I'm assuming there must have been a cost in goats or drachma or something to become a member back then, but the site was free for a long time.

Yes, I think I found that one years back but never received an email.

There are plenty if you have the time to 'google', some single manuals some multiples.

"Land Rover manuals free .pdf" usually finds them. The deeper you search the more info comes up.
