I'd imagine it has something to do with FIFO crib room chat - "Na mate, Toyota or you're just pretending" [bighmmm]

Actually I'm in perth and thinking of going to Victoria to look at a 2016 d4.

I'm always looking at dirt bikes on gumtree. Perth has some bargains in that market too

dunno about Perth but there is a car dealership opposite work and has a traded in silver D4 with bullbar for $40k.  No idea what spec / km etc
Seems a high price.

Very much a lot of this. 
I think it may also be ‘greener grass’, as I feel like they are often better value in the east!
