Hey guys. My boss has an 06 V8 Petrol with where the central locking doesn't work with the remote. It has 2 new keys and they send the right signal according to the key bloke. The central locking works with the buttons on the dash, but he noticed the other day that the rear doors don't unlock when the dash buttons are pressed either. I swapped out the receiver in the roof with mine from my D3 and no change, checked power to the receiver which there is, followed the wires down the left A pillar where i lost the suspecting signal wire to the BCM. Has anyone had or heard of this issue?

Check the passenger side footwell for water. My D3 would have the same problem after rain for a few weeks and start working again when it dried out. The wiring for the remote was susceptable to water ingress and the sunroof drain was blocked. IZt took me a while to realise that the failure was due to water as it was a long time for it to dry out and it often rained again in the meantime.
