Hi
My 1996 130 Defender came with these rims fitted. I have heard Defender 130 came with a heavy duty rim compared to the 110. Are these the correct weight rated rims for the 130? Where do I find another one in NSW.
Thanks

130 rims with holes are essentially Wolf rims. They are welded.

They can be either tubeless or tubed type (slightly different rim profile) depending on age. All have a thicker center section than 110 rims and more offset and are 1" wider (6.5"). They are also heavier, despite the holes.

There are also early 130 rims which were also 6.5", had a rivetted construction, and tubed only. No holes.

I don't think the 5.5" rims are suited to the loads of the 130 ... but that is just recall from stuff I've read over the years on the internet (dangerous).

There appears to be quite a few Perentie rims about ... tubed and 6.0". Not sure of their load rating and whether they suit a 130. I have some on mine at the moment.

When you say your 130 came with those rims, do you mean new from the dealer or when you bought the car 2nd hand?

Those rims don't sound like 130 rims.

They should be stamped with either

ANR5593 TUBED with the size 6½Jx16x20.6 and date eg: 0696

OR

ANR4583 TUBELESS with the size 6½Jx16x20.6 and date eg: 0696
