2" Coil lift

Hi all, I have recently purchased a 2002 P38. I have had plenty of Landrovers over the years but never had a P38....its been a learning experience. It is on coils and goes in for its RWC this weekend. Once it is registered I am looking at some mods and the first will be a 2" lift. I cannot find any info on which springs though. I know its not factory, but I thought there would be a few people by now that have converted to coils and lifted it.

Any help will be appreciated.

there is a kit like this:

but that is only 1 inch. There are 2" shocks (adjustables even) that I run, but I have the hard range kit with arnott gen 3 bags. I do not know of any 2" lifted springs. Mind you that if the height sensors are not removed from the vehicle you will break them when raised. Also, the air ride is what makes the P38 fantastic in most people's opinions so you may want to consider restoring it? though it is much more expensive :)

Thanks. Yeah, it already has conversion kit in it so just looking for springs. It will only be used for offroading and weekend camping. Probably only do 2000km/year so happy leaving it coils.
I'm sure I can just put some RRC or D2 springs on it, would just be good to hear if anyone has been down this path

Sorry for not answering earlier I tried to PM you but it came back, I did indeed have a 2” lift on my P38 firstly using King Springs from my Discovery 300TDI and Bilstien shocks. Then I installed Dobinson springs and Dobinson shocks. Of the two setups I believe the Bilstien shocks were much better than the Dobinson I had two Dobinson shocks leak within 6 months of installation and removed them before I sold the car. I think King springs are a good choice the only reason I changed was because I had installed a rear bar with a spare wheel hanging off the back. It was in hind site a bad choice as it created too much overhang and overloaded the springs, I should have purchased heavier rated King springs instead of the Dobinsons they didn’t handle it any better.
I hope this helps springs are much easier to maintain than the air suspension I wouldn’t say better than air in operation if the air system is working correctly.
Having installed the springs I did utilise the air compressor and air receiver for blowing up tyres and operating the air lockers. If you go that route you may want to install a pressure sensor / switch in the air supply to the receiver as I did. It was designed to cut the electric supply to the compressor at 125 psi and start the compressor when it dropped to 85psi. Thus when I went off road I just turned the compressor switch on and it would fill the receiver ready for use and turn off automatically when the system was full.

You don't happen to know the spring rate or length? Or was it just labelled "springs for 2"lift". Sounds like the D1 springs are the way to go.

I will probably put the spare on the rear bar as well. I just don't think there are many options. Don't really want it in back of car or on roof.
