Just a heads-up.
A few weeks ago my transfer box self-annihilated.
All fixed now with a new box (thanks to Glen and Pete at Roving Mechanical).
There was some speculation about the cause and we think a failed bearing probably instigated it. The reason we believe this is that the high-pitched whine at 100km/h is not present now. (I thought the whine was normal and that I could hear it as a result of recently installed hearing aids :wheelchair:)
So if your transmission whines its not your hearing aids so get it checked out.
