Range Rover P38 DHSE

I am just watching a Salvage Rebuilds UK video on Youtube and they are doing a "will it start" clip on a 2000 Range Rover P38 DHSE that were fitted in the UK with a BMW M51 six cylinder diesel. Were any of these BMW powered diesels available in Australia as an option? As you might have guessed - I am not very familiar with Range Rovers.

No they were never formally imported which is a pity, possibly a few private imports but i've never seen any.

There's a few around but they're quite an underpowered vehicle.

I think they got the 2.5 but seen a few in the UK with an M57 3.0 upgrade which would be nice.
