D4 Battery replacement

Hi All,

Anybody used the SSB HVT86D as a starter battery? I'm up for replacement - last change over was an SSB SS88Ti, on its knees after 4 years

Take a look where it goes and how the terminals connect - it just wont work without major changes!

Whats your usage been the last 4 years? Covid and lockdowns has been the death of many a battery

Depending on vehicles useage patterns - 4 years is pretty good.

Very little usage over the 2 years - the current set up is still in the original battery box (modifications on the cover for the additional cables. Looking at the measurements and the cover, I don't see an issue from the terminal height, but will check the connections.
A bit more on the AH with the HVT which was why the look to change
