hi all,
My D3 came with 235/70/r17 (the top half of the photo attached), and I wanted to keep using the Diamond rims and 265/60/R18 (as designed on the bottom half photo).
However, I found they were too different ones.
The 17" rims are 7JX17 SEH2, while the 18" rims are 8JX18X57 AH2.
I tried and the 18" rims are touching the brake callipers, it looks like a wheel spacer is need.
Is there any solution to put those rims on the D3?

From memory those rims are off a P38 Range Rover so the offset is probably wrong.
Your 17" rims are probably pretty sort after by D2 owners so you might be able to do a swap.

Offset for D3 is +52
Yours are too far in (reducing track) which will make it handle worse, potentially rub frame as well.
P38 (& D2) spigot diameter is 70.1
D3 spigot is 72.6
So a P38 wheel won’t seat on the hub at all.

The most common 18" rims that came on the D3 are:
1. 2005 & 2006 SE (grey vehicle)
2. Later SE (white vehicle facing right)
3. Early HSE (wheel only photo), and
4. Later HSE (white vehicle facing left)
Some have painted theirs black and I think loanrangie is one of those. I didn't go looking for the thread about it though. HTH.

Thanks all for your input.
I will drill out the spigot of the Diamond rims to match the D3 and put the spacer in between and run the setup like a crazy racing car on street with a waiting broken nuts and lugs in any second. Nah. I'm really joking.:bat:
Will hunt for a set of 18" D3 rims now :D

18" D4 wheels will fit too - usually in the #2 style above i've found...
