Went into town along the Golden Hwy this morning. I was passed on a double line by a driver well over the speed limit; in a Discovery 4! Not alone - a little further along, I got to where they now have 80k speed limits for the level crossings. I slowed to 80, and was promptly passed by a Landcruiser 200 (on a double line as well).

On a happier note - there is a Ford T gathering in Dubbo this week. As I entered town, there was one two cars ahead, one three cars behind and one five behind, all except one being pre-first War types. As i was leaving Aldi, another one was parking there. (no pictures - i was driving)

And an observation on the way in - you know the potholes are bad when there are ducks swimming on them!

You can be sure you get passed by any Model T's

Ahhh, we passed seemingly millions of vintage cars this afternoon. They were all travelling into Dubbo via the Yeoval Rd. We wondered what was going on.

Kalgoorlie has been crawling with vintage race cars for the past few days. Most of them on trailers - not road registered.

The classic Red Dust Revival motor race at Lake Perkolilli (one of Australia's oldest race tracks) has been on.
