Can anyone advise were I can buy a set of OEM quality valve rockers for my 300 TDI.
I purchased an aftermarket set which turned out not to be hardened on the wear faces as such they started showing major wear after 3000k. Ive seen some advertised on UK sites that claim to be OEM equivalent but I'm not sure how trust worthy they are and I'm a shy at forking out $400 to find out they no good. At present I'm running on the old set which are pitted and need replacing, I would appreciate any suggestions or recommendations.

Regards
Steve

That's concerning to hear, Steve.

I too have a fresh set of aftermarket rockers to install on my rebuilt 300Tdi. I will watch them very closely. Thank you for the heads up.
My recent experience with parts supply generally is that what is supplied can be very inconsistent - even within the same brand. Ask me about conrods...

Your best bet would be to contact one of the aforementioned UK parts suppliers, explain your situation and request confirmation of the brand and photos of the items. I have found they are typically quite helpful.

There should be plenty of secondhand genuine rockers around for a 300 TDI, that would be the way I would / have gone.

Cheers
