MacOS 13 Ventura is out. Pretty much all Macs pre 2017 are no longer officially supported. Officially. Using OCLP V0.5.0 (Release 0.5.1 * dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher * GitHub (https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/releases/0.5.1)) I have Ventura running on my Late 2012 27" iMac just fine. Some features are unavailable as they require 's M# architecture, but it's fine. I like keeping older things going when possible. Now it's the 2012 MacBook Pro's turn.

Have just recently acquired a macbook pro retina 15" with Big Sur on it.
Used to have a macbook 2012 I think it was.......
Anyway, whats so good about Ventura, havent looked into it as I knew it wouldnt work on this machine.
But it might seeing as you have an older mac..
Good luck with it and let us know how you go with it.

I have a 2017 MacBook, put Monterey on it 2 days ago and now I have an invite to use Ventura.
Will be doing it in the next couple of days. Monterey is fine apart from the native screensaver.
cheers, DL
