world wide shortage of hoses !

Been absent of a long time, and I'd like to say because of trouble free motoring. But we all know that's not the case, as we slowly rebuild our cars, part by expensive part.

And so to my next upgrade. I need new radiator hoses. Just one, as far as I can see. But logic tells me the others are ageing the same, so might as well get in front of the next failure. Problem is, it seems like the rest of the LL world wide community have decided to do that same thing and now I can't get any! Or the factory has a rubber shortage and stopped producing ?

You are unfortunately correct - there is a shortage and I experienced this myself; I made an order last year (2021) in November from Island 4x4 and waited over 6 months before I finally ended up cancelling. I ended up giving British 4x4 in Hobart a call and they happened to have one - it was over twice the price of the Island 4x4 one but but at least they had one - and it was delivered the next day! So service was tip top from British 4x4. You could try give them a call on 03 6248 6121. Not sure how many they had but worth a shot. Good luck.
