Until such time as they are everywhere, we need (or not) a thread a bit like twitchers have on bird watching sites.

So I'll start it off.

So today a drive into Lithgow town from Mt Wilson to buy groceries, fuel for the garden tools, gas for the BBQ we spotted in front turning off at the Zig Zag railway with a white Toyota FJ Cruiser a Black 110. It's a moderately dirty road that way so I hope you get to wash some of it off.

On Sunday evening I saw a white 110 with white roof go around the corner while I was waiting for my Chinese take-away.

This afternoon I saw a silver 110 along Ipswich Rd, I waved but the two blokes in front either didn't see me or didn't know what it meant.

I saw a Yellow one with "Bond University" written on it,today on the Gold Coast.
Probably a custom paint job,or do they come in yellow?

Whilst driving my slightly soiled white one the other day I spotted a glossy black one at the local car wash....no doubt it spends most of its time either at the dealers or the carwash. The owner twisted his neck as I passed by.

This one spotted in the Hornsby area a few weeks ago.
What caught my eye was the Range Rover Club (NSW) badge which indicates that Defenders are now acceptable in the RRC. Actually they may have been for some time but I'm haven't been up to date with the club scene lately.

Hi Roger,

Greg Pearson at Cremorne Prestige serviced my ex Disco for a while. He was an active member of the RRC. He told me that in those days when the Disco and the Rangie had a lot in common mechanically, Discos were welcome on outings. Maybe the circle has turned and now the new Defender shares a similar status.

IIRC, the Discos were welcomed by the RRC since they were first released in the early nineties. I believe the RRC membership would have dimished somewhat if this hadn't happened but it seems to have taken a few more decades for the Defenders to be welcomed.

Anyway, apologies for the side track, let's get back on line with the purpose of this thread.

The RRC now accepts any Land Rover product. I guess there aren’t many new Rangie owners going off road. And Greg now has a Pangea green 110.

At work (East Perth WA) in the carpark is a beautiful green P400 110. I have marked the spot next to it for my grey P400 arriving in March....

There are more and more out there, I actually saw two today, a black 110 turning off Ipswich Rd this morning and a white 110 at Bunnings a bit later.

Saw a Carpathian grey 110 with LR bar and roof rack plus awning this morning, would almost be a clone for mine that's due in about 6 weeks

Sounds like the 75th anniversary edition if it is grassmere green not Pangea.. the 75th needs a
white roof and either black or white wheels to break up the green

Yes it was a green I hadn’t seen before.

So does that model come with the green wheels?
Even the spare was green.

Yep, even the alloys are the same green as the body..

Saw one of those on the fwy today, and at the dealer last week when I picked mine up. Worst colour and the matching wheels make it even worse. Colour looks way better on the originals, and I agree, it needs a white roof and alloy or steel wheels. Not a fan, but I guess for the 75th anniversary some collectors may like it.

There's a new 110 lives near me but never a speck of dirt on it. :)
There's also quite a few D4s, 2 within a 100 metres of us, 2 D2s, a Disco Sports, 2 Defenders of older vintage, and 3 little Suzies which go buzzing up and down my road.
Maybe there'll be a new 110 at my place sometime next year. :O

Heading east on Bell's Line of Road between the Mt Wilson Road and Mt Tomar a 110 with a large van attached was parked. Hopefully, the driver was just adjusting his mirrors!

As an aside whenever I see a Land Rover I say "Land Rover". This has the nice lady in the Pivi Pro respond with "how can I help?" I'd told her to respond to "Hey S M E G" but apparently she hasn't forgotten her roots!
