Dunno where to put this, so here will do.

Given the growing interest/need for info on putting Territory engines in Discos is there a case for rounding up the various stories/YT vids etc and bunging them in TGO? I know of one member stranded in the Flinders Ranges who could benefit.

D3/4 cars are becoming more affordable as entry level LR ownership, and their touring capabilities are well known.

I and others did ask this question many moons ago.

Seems TGO has become a bit of a forgotten backwater these days, but a centalised repository for this topic in particular might be popular.

I think your question is worth asking again, Daz.

I've always thought the name was not the best.

Oldies (:wheelchair:) probably know where it comes from. " I'll give you the good oil on that" is probably not in the vernacular these days. Shame to underutilize what could be a good resource but.

I mean the info is all there on AULRO...

Maybe a dumb dumb guide on how to search, after all we are living in the world of:

*Instructions on a plastic bin lid on how to open the lid and put it back on.
*A heater with a label on the front stating caution hot when on.
*radio messages saying school is out so take care on the roads (so all other times you can drive like a ****? )

No problems,
Maybe when you first thought of it Dazza it wasnt the major dilemma it is now..?

Anyway, seeing its a D3/4 thing would it be better in the D3/4 Sticky Zone?
Or maybe just a link in the Sticky zone to TGO?

Either, Pete. It's just that every time the topic comes up people have to search for threads, and some people have gone to great lengths to document their efforts only to have them disappear into the cobwebs.

Also, I reckon TGO is underutilised. There is a thread running now on D2 ZF Auto refurb. In that thread there are links provided to others. Some of these are not easy to find due to the imaginative thread titles. All these could benefit from being added to TGO in one of the ways you mention.

Hey, I know it's in the nature of this place and its members to ask the same questions again. I do it, and probably still will, but maybe those questions would be able to be answered by pointing to TGO, and maybe those threads could still be added to. Of course, not all threads are equal.

Just a thought.

Objects in this mirror are closer than they appear.

Is now a sticky in TGO.

But the work here is not done..

I now need all those threads as links.....

Please PM me links to any suitable threads and I will add them...
