Hi, can someone assist me in a contact number for Fred Smith Automotive. I have a S3 troopy he was restoring however his mobile & landline have been disconnected? Last I spoke to him he was moving from Bayswater to a new workshop in Sept 2020. Thanks Gus

Must have been a while ago. He's been gone from Bayswater for years. I heard he'd gone out somewhere in Gippsland. IIRC Gromit ( Colin ) was looking for him a while back, maybe he found him. He'd be in his 70s, so who knows.

The business in Bayswater closed some time back.

He had a few items advertised on Gumtree but I haven't seen anything for a while.

6 months apart and I am in the same boat as Gus. Had a SIII with Fred Smith and never got to call prior to him leaving from Bayswater. Have only just found this thread.

Tried the mobile supplied but it’s been disconnected.

Gus242 or anyone else who has his contact details can I please have them?

Really want to track it down and if he still has it.

Any help is much appreciated.

His new mobile is 0456 691 889. I have his new workshop address in Morwell too if anyone needs it get in touch.

Spoke to him tonight and he reckons there’s a few in my boat that he lost the details for in the move a couple of years ago and he still has the vehicles and parts etc.

As I can't respond privately due to post limit, i'll post here to say thanks for the assist everyone; I now have the workshop address.

I have spoken with Fred on the phone many times over the past 10 years but he hasn't been forthcoming with updates.
