Has anyone come across with this Issue? Trying to register my perentie however there are two vin numbers on the vehicle.
Was told to take to transport in Tasmania and they have stated the vehicle never been registered. They now required a letter from Landrover stating it complies with Australian standards.

Any help would be great

Two VINs? Most perenties should start with SALL** They also may have an Army ARN, which might be the other.

VINs are 17 digits and can be checked here: VIN Check Australia - Check My Rego (https://www.checkmyrego.com.au/vin-check/)

Hope that helps. Good luck.

EDIT: You'll probably need to know the State it was last registered in.

The compliance plate will show authorities that it meets ADRs and have the correct Vin on it.

I'd suggest you call Brad at KLR Automotive. They are Perentie specialists. KLR Automotive - Everything Land Rover & Perentie Making the Best Even Better. (https://klrautomotive.com.au/)

Good to see another Hillman Arrow owner - although I'm no longer am one. We had our Hunter Royal 660 from new in 1971 to 2008. It's still on the road in Canberra.

Pic taken at work not long after buying it:
