Hi all, first time posting in the D4 forum!

My recently acquired Disco 4 2012MY has beeing working perfectly well until today when I noted that the Bluetooth audio has suddenly stopped working. I've got Aux, USB, or radio as my only audio choice. However, the phone is connecting okay via Bluetooth as I can see my address book, recent calls etc on the head unit.

I've had a look through previous Bluetooth questions but they all seem to be realted to a total failure of the Bluetooth connection, not a partial one like I'm having.

Any ideas on what/why, and how to fix?

TIA!

Hi Sam

Start with the hard reset...

Pop bonnet, let vehicle go to sleep (close doors and wait for Handbrake led to extinguish)
Then remove Earth lead from battery, followed by positive and keeping them clear of the battery - touch them together for a few seconds.
Then refit the positve, refit earth cable.

Cheers

Hi Sam

Start with the hard reset...

Thanks for the advice. I did the hard reset and it did/didn't work.

I say "did/didn't" as the audio Bluetooth connectivity still didn't work after the hard reset so I had a bit of a play with the audio settings and found that the Bluetooth option under My Music had been switched off. Now, I don't know how or why it had switched off or if the option had disappeared before the hard reset but it was certainly there afterwards. And with switching this back on, it's all good again.

Either way, I'll remember to look in these option again before disconnecting the battery etc if it happens again.

Thanks again for the help!
