The only definitive answer to ARB being expensive is "YES".
Many of their products are good but usually overpriced.

Good to know Tony. I have been wondering about how much life is left on my rope. Lost all its purple and some if it has been squashed quite badly.

Hi,
ARB will always start with the RRP on the phone. You need to actually go down and talk turkey with them.
I haggled with them and bought
Magnum Winch
Bull Bar - Winch Mount
Safari Snorkel
Wiring loom for Driving lights (wired)
some recovery gear
2 new globes for driving lights etc
And payed $2500
Compare their RRP.
I can't complain.

ARB's rope is genuine Warn, made in the USA & imported, they would be better of having their ropes made hear...then again if they did they would still be $375
Let us all know the name of the rope maker so we can save all some money also.

Thats a great price Baz, I for one would like to know these people address, I've used my rope many times, getting just a few too many kinks now, should have replaced before this.
