G'day. A question for the electrical/electronics brains trust.
I have come across a term I am not sure about in a manual covering some big flooded lead acid batteries. What is I10 as in "6 x I10" in the diagram below. It is not clearly defined in the battery manual. It relates to Hoppecke batteries and their charging requirements. It is stated as a requirement in a few places. Third row, sixth row and last row of the table below. The C10 rating of the batteries is 915Ah. 1220Ah, 1145Ah, 1063Ah, and 790Ah is the C100 C50, C24 and C5 ratings respectively for the 8OPzS 2Volt cells I am working with. I am wondering if I10 is the charge rate of 91A, this 91A being the 10% of this C10 rate. If so, 6 x 91A is a huge number and this is causing me some confusion. A possible indication of what I10 is a reference to I10 in the second diagram below. However, the reference is in subscript in this diagram and in the table it is I10, as in no subscript. Is this lack of subscript a formatting a typo or is I10 a complete different number?
Anyway, are there any more better informed interpretations out there?
