Not exactly 'technical' but I couldn't make my mind up where to post this......
I'm re-manufacturing the headlining of my Dormobile and need plastic edging for thin (3.2mm) Masonite panels, I also need joining strip where two panels meet.
I've searched with no success but I'm sure I've seen joiners & edging in old buildings/sheds that were lined with thin plywood sheets.
I'm thinking maybe caravan industry. I deal with Jayco and also a company that make caravan extrusions so I'll ask them but otherwise does anyone know where I could source these strips ??

Bunnings sell a product called "Wallart" which is about 3mm thick plastic sheeting. Not that you need that, but they also sell the edging that goes with it. This should be suitable for your purpose. Another option is pinchweld (supercheap?) or moulded rubber (Clarke Rubber).

Thanks, I'll have a look in Bunnings.
As I need off-white the pinchweld or moulded rubber isn't suitable.

Found the edging strip but not the joining strip on the way to work. Seems Bunnings may be getting out of the product.
Much wider than the original so I'll have to 'V' the back to get it to bend.
I'll keep looking but if I can't find anything this will suffice.
Thanks,
Colin

ColinYour best bet at bunnings would be eaveslining joiners, it's 4.5mm though so a little bigger than your Masonite but would still work. You may find smaller at a plywood/partical board supplier. They would most likely stock a 3-3.5mm product to suit caravan plywood.

Managed to get the Wallart joiner from a different Bunnings.
Both the edging strip & joiner are rigid whereas the ones in the Dormobile are flexible. I'll have to see what I can do with a heat gun.
At $4.90 for 2.3mtr I've nothing to lose.
Thanks for all the suggestions.
