View Full Version : BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR

Does anyone know where I can get a blower motor resistor connector (pigtail) from. I have the resistor coming, but the connector is burnt out.

where is said part ? have you got a part number ? i wouldnt have thought they used them any more. which car ?

It's a 2008 r/r sport with the tdv8 engine. I think the part is called a blower motor power module part no LRO31677. The tend to burn the connector when they fail. If I can't get another connector I will connect the wires direct to the blades in the new module and fill with silicone.

ah yeah surprised they still need them with brushless motors and pwm around but anyway, i found it "control unit-blower-motor-front"

says connector not serviceable, and i cant find and reference online to the part number, maybe its just spade connectors so you dont have to solder on, but then maybe better off finding a 4 pin plug , male and female, and soldering leads on the controller to one half the plug, and the other plug to the car loom so atleast its disconnectable and no change of getting wires around wrong way

other option would be finding someone wrecking or 3d printing

I found them also, very expensive and they are wrong. They are 5 pin like the full size r/r not 4 pin like the sport. I will go with your idea of putting an in line connector in if I can find one to suit.
