im a newbie here ,am working on my sons recently acquired ,6 cylinder 109 ,is coming together well but i have recently discovered there is just two rivets were the compliance plate should be attached ,they appear to be original and there is no evidence that there was any alloy plate under them ,the revs check based on the chassis number ,comes up clear ,personal property securities register lists year /mth of compliance 11/79 so it would appear to have compliance but no plate ,question is did army landys have compliance plates attached ,can i get a copy and has anyone had experience registering one in nsw without a compliance plate thanks

Dunno, but I can tell you that the comma comes before the space in sentences, not after.

Your method really fries the brain! [bigsmile]

I don't think Military vehicles had to meet ADR'S so maybe a compliance plate wasn't fitted.
I can have a look at my FFR later if I remember, where were the rivets ? Were they on the radiator support panel ?

Took a picture in a dark shed this morning, just had a look and it isn't that clear.
LHS of the vehicle (RHS when looking under the bonnet) gives build date, GVM and ADR's it complies with.

Not sure how important this is when getting a roadworthy.

my local blue slip guy says it wont be a problem. as it has been previously regoed in NSW,as indicated by the revs check, and it wears a national parks entry sticker which would tend to indicate it was registered privately after it left the army ,im fairly sure the army wouldn't have required a pass to enter a NP,
