I have recently just found out I cannot engage Low Range in my 2010 Discovery 4.

A print by my auto elec of my TCCM gives me a Error code - P1810-00, followed by an Description - 4WD Low Indicator circuit short to battery, followed by a History - Permanent. I get a similar statement for High Range but the History is - Intermittent.

I also had with the RLM an Error Code - C112F-72, followed by Description - Air Spring Valve, followed by History - Intermittent. In conjunction with this via the RLM is an Error Code - C1130-66, followed by Description - Air Supply of Air Spring Valve, followed by History - Intermittent.

ANY THOUGHTs, you can even sms me on 0427522880, I am desperate Lol

On another note had intermittent then permanent failure issues with Cruise Control & lights that highlight the buttons on steering wheel. Auto Elec cleaned up contacts on Clock Spring and now all works A1

First check for the transfer case would be to look for any damaged wires underneath. Short to battery suggests lack of earth on the position sensor.

No, it’s not that.
I have had P1810 myself. The key is the term “indicator” which relates to the LED in the console for the Low Range LED in the Terrain Response Switch. In my case it was obvious because the LED was lower brightness to the high range.

I bought a replacement part LR036077, Terrain Response Switch secondhand to resolve that error and get a bright LED again.

The rest, unsure.

But the OP claims no Low Range…Not just that LED is giving soft mood lighting…

What does no low range mean?

Can the OP explain??

Do you select Neutral, press the low range button, and then what happens? What does it say on the dash?

The thread title "4WD" is misleading. I opened the thread expecting the poster to say he can't get 4WD. [bigwhistle]

The OP joined in mid 2022 and isn't a subscriber. The thread was moved from a section a non-subscriber can post to, so at the moment it's likely the OP can't explain at the moment.
Nothing the price of 2 cups of coffee (or one in Melbourne) won't fix though.
