I have a pair of Contitech air bags, I want to replace the original fitting with a push fit one, but what size? The tubing is 4mm but the thread size?
TIA

M8x1, these are fitted to contitech bags 5203110000 TEKALAN hose coupler VOSS - Maksis.fi Verkkokauppa (https://www.maksis.fi/tuotteet/E0E9DD-voss-5203110000) , you need something similar with this 4mm x M8x1 Metric Thread 80 BAR HP Brass Push Fit Straight Stud Fitting (https://www.advancedfluidsolutions.co.uk/4mm-x-m8x1-metric-thread-80-bar-hp-brass-push-fit-straight-stud-fitting-2881-p.asp) not necessarily to such high pressure

Think you will find that the attachment is a push fitting, I know it is flush and this confused when fitting the bags on, the common push fittings have a raised head, the airbags are flat. To remove the line from memory you need a flat head screwdriver to push the inner ring in.

Depends on airbag, the OG LR ones had a voss fitting on the airline that screwed into the airbag. Later airbags do tend to have push to fit connectors on them. You do need the special voss M8 to 4mm push fit cos normal m8 push fit connectors don't have the oring etc.

This has the older screw in type.
The new ones still use the screw fitting. I replaced both of mine about 12 months ago with Conti bags.
They are screw in hoses.
