The standard sat nav in a UK spec L322 Range Rover is OK until you need the last 3 miles. It then becomes a liability as it had limited information on screen. This is a Land Rover thing as my VW that was 5 years older had a very good sat nav

As it is the last part of the journey in unfamiliar territory that I find a sat nav most useful and becoming tired of saying bad words at the sat nav which does not seem to care thought would see what was out there

A simple stick it on the dash sat nav would work. Was also keen and still am on one of those kits that allow Apple car play and keep the factory unit functions. At the moment these are out of my price range

The third option I have found is a sort of half way house between the 2. They offer a 10 inch screen with a dash cam built in that you attach to the dash. The unit has Apple car play so can access maps that way

All the ones I have seen are from Chinese companies that I have never heard of. Various price points depending on what features you want. The unit itself seems to be the same in all the adds even if the brand differs. Am inclined to buy the cheapest and see what happens

Question is is there anyone on there with experience of them?

A few including myself have fitted android head units to a D3 with great success, brands will differ but the main cheapies i see are Atoto ,Pumkin,Joying, Eonon to name a few.
I fitted an Eonon as i knew guys who had fitted them and were happy enough with them, not had any issues with mine and been in for almost 5 years.

With android units you can easily customise them with apps and launchers.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230208/eb9629d4ccda055397ee3bea5ae67ebd.jpg
