The volume control on the radio has stopped working. Turns but nothing happens to the volume. Steering wheel controls still work
From what I can determine the volume control is electronic and the front panel with the controls can be removed from the actual unit with the display
Asking at wreckers they want to sell the complete unit not just the front controls piece with the buttons
Could separate them once have a new unit but do I need to
Couple of questions
Is the radio coded to the car or can I remove and replace?
Car has TV is this a separate piece or part of the head unit?
Anything else I need to look out for?
