Isn't that a motor that lives in a toe rag that starts with a V and ends with a W?

I can't see 'economical' being in the equation.

Why not just put a HEMI in it put a tray on the back and rename it a Dodge Ram

Looks like a mirror image of 2 x TD5's

Now we're all used to conservative British and European tinkering with Land Rover engines. But remember, from here on in we can look forward to some American automotive philosophy. I'm sure FORD would like their new Land Rover to be able to drag off any Chev or Hummer.

Its not a speed issue that thing couple to a gear range of the defender would have a **** load of torque low and wouldn't even work the engine I'm all for power just they can stick speed as it kills.

That Land Rover badge on top looks like a photochop!
There is no way LR would put that motor in a Defender (in any market) when they have only just released the V8 diesel in the Range Rover.

It isn't the speed part that kills Dirty it's the sudden stop that does most of the damage. If speed killed then no-one would get in the drivers seat of a F1 race car.
Trust me it's the stopping part that hurts:twisted:
