Hi all was at the local ARB and read a flyier about the above, brags 30% more power and 20% more torque out of the TD5 2.5. Has anyone fitted one of these and are they worth the $1500????????? quite alot of money but he recons he fitted one to a GU and the owner couldn't speak more of it (sales pitch???)

Different to what the model there selling but have a 96 TDI Ser1.

96 Series 1 Discoveries dont have the ECU style injection the TD5s have.

This upgrade isnt suitable for your engine, you'll have to do it the old fashioned way (pump mods, better intercooler, tuning).

As for being worth $1500.00 well, no way....

The upgrades worth it the price isnt!

Even if you did have a Td5 I would be wary about the dtronic. I had heard that ARB stopped stocking it cause there was problems with the TD5 engine. Dont know exactly what though...
